In this sermon, we looked at the first miracle performed by Jesus: turning water into wine at a local wedding. In John 2:1-11, we see key elements that reveal the glory of Jesus. Through the miracle of turning water into wine, we see that Jesus’ Kingdom is a Kingdom of faith and that His primary purpose on earth was to carry out the will of His Heavenly Father. We also see Jesus’ authority over our spiritual cleansing, as He pours out immeasurable grace in our lives. Through this simple story, we clearly see that Jesus provides far more than we need; He turns sinners into saints.
